Awesome God

I had a fantastic weekend. I participated in a gathering of Christians worshiping and praising God. The workshops were encouraging and the singing was uplifting. We were blessed with a bounty of wonderful food and fellowship. Much time and money went into the preparation of this weekend but our awesome God was uplifted and glorified!

Life

Well, we have all heard it...there are only two things you can count on in life and those would be taxes and death. Sometimes when I am doing my taxes, I think I would like to choose death. That is not really our choice...that is God's. But we know it is coming and we shouldn't leave our families high and dry with high expenses. You can Save Money on Insurance by going to: http://www.advantagetermlife.com/. You can even Lower Your Insurance Premium!
That's right you can Lower Your Insurance Premium if you already have insurance! Now you can 't beat that.

Now I know we don't plan to leave anytime soon but we just don't know when God decides we have done all we have been called to do here on earth. I suggest you utilize Insurance Quoting Services so that your family won't be hurting financially. And guess what!? there aren't in taxes in heaven. I don't know about hell...there probably are some there.

Southern Living

We just had to change our time...we had to "fall back". It was nice because we got another hour of sleep but it gets darker earlier. But as I was going around the house changing all the clocks, I was amazed at the number of clocks we own. Just in the kitchen we have a wall kitchen clock, the radio/CD player clock, microwave, stove, coffee pot and telephone! That's just the kitchen. I don't want to list all the ones in the house and cars.

We have to keep up with time because we have places we need to be, people we need to see, things we have to do. We try to fill up the day with as many things as we can. Then we fall, exhausted, in bed, but first we check our bedside clocks to be sure the alarm is ready for us the next morning...just so we can do the same thing again.

Sadly, many people forget to put God in some of that time. And if we do, it is not much time. We have so many other things to do, that we don't have time for God. What would happen, if God didn't have time for us?

This should be fun. I haven't really blogged much before, but it looks like it could be fun. Don't really expect many people to read it but that's OK.

Life is good for me. God is good. He has blessed me with a fantastic husband, 3 wonderful children, 6 beautiful grandchildren and one precious great grandchild. I also have two dogs and two cats.
